Davey Hakala

Davey Hakala is a fiddler, singer, and composer well-known in Puget Sound celtic music circles. He lives in Olympia, WA with his music partner Josie Solseng, and commutes daily on the Vashon Island ferryboat to his day job. As an accomplished player of traditional Irish tunes, Davey leads a weekly fiddle seisun in Olympia. He also composes original tunes in traditional style: his creations include "Tall Ships", "Hak's Jig", and "Humours of Mud Bay".
