Rachel Maskew

Rachel Maskew is the principal videographer for Ferryboat Music. She is also an up-and-coming Celtic fiddler, recording her first instrumental tracks on Hank Cramer's "Caledonia" CD this year.

Born in England, Rachel emigrated to the United States at age 8. She earned her bachelor's degree in computer sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and has a "day career" as a telecommunications industry professional in the Seattle metro area. But her passion is videography, and she has filmed, edited, and produced several full-length DVD's and music videos.

These include a historical documentary on a quaint New England village; a 90-minute concert video of the Pine Stump Symphony folk festival; a 35-minute video of the Tall Ships' welcome concert in Victoria, BC (packaged with the Constellation's Crew CD "Back To Sea"); and music video renditions of Hank Cramer's "Soldier Song" medley and the ballad "Christmas In The Trenches". Rachel also tours and records as a fiddler with Hank Cramer & Constellation's Crew.
